This Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”, “Policy”) applies to Cinewav Pte Ltd, a company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Singapore with its registered address at 7 Temasek Boulevard, #12-07 Suntec Tower One, Singapore 038987 (“Cinewav”, “we,” “our,” “us”) and govern your access to and use of the Cinewav services on our website, including all pages and features within the website or mobile software applications (collectively, the “Site”), whether as a guest or a registered user. References herein to “Cinewav” shall also mean to include the Site, as the context requires. References herein to “user”, “you”, “your”, or “yours” shall refer to you. The terms used in this Privacy Policy shall have the same meaning as in the Terms and Conditions, unless noted otherwise.  

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Policy. Please read this Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. 

If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not register with, access, or use Cinewav and/or the Site. By registering with, accessing, or using Cinewav and/or the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy. This Policy may change from time to time. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data about or direct or target interest-based advertising to anyone under the age of 13 or other applicable age in your jurisdiction (if different than 13) or knowingly allow such persons to use or access Cinewav and/or the Site. If you are under 13 (or other applicable age in your jurisdiction), please do not send any data about yourself to us, including your first name, last name, or email address. No one under the age of 13 (or other applicable age in your jurisdiction) may provide any personal data. If we learn that we have collected personal data about a child under age 13 (or other applicable age), we will delete that data as quickly as possible. When you register with, access, or use Cinewav and/or the Site, we may ask you to provide information (a) by which you may be personally identified, such as first name, last name, company name, company address, email address, phone number (the “Personal Information“, “Personal Data”), and/or (b) that is about you but individually does not identify you.

  • Information that you provide by filling in forms on Cinewav and/or the Site. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use or access Cinewav and/or the Site such as first name, last name, company name, email address or phone number, address, bank account information, other payment method information. We may also ask you for information when you interact with us, and when you report a problem with Cinewav and/or the Site or otherwise correspond with us.
  • Records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses), if you contact us.
  • Details of transactions you carry out with Cinewav and/or through the Site and of the Visitor orders.
  • We may collect financial information from you (e.g., your bank account information or an address to send checks) as necessary to facilitate payments such information is directed to our bank or third-party payment processor.
  • Information we may obtain from other sources: We may also collect or receive Personal Data including your name, email address and other contact information from third party sources, such as third party websites and marketing partners, your bank, our payment processing partners and credit reporting agencies.
We use IP addresses to collect statistical information about the areas of the Site that users are visiting, and general traffic data and to identify a particular user in relation to items being viewed. This information allows us to determine what is most beneficial for users and facilitates us in continually improving the overall Site for our users.

Parts of Cinewav and/or the Site and our emails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit us, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email and for other related Cinewav and/or Site statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain Cinewav and/or Site content, features, functionality, and services, and verifying system and server integrity). 
  • Some information – such as IP address and/or browser and device characteristics – is collected automatically when you visit our website.

We process your information for purposes based on legitimate business interests, the fulfilment of our contract with you, compliance with our legal obligations, and/or your consent:

  • To make Cinewav and/or the Site work.

To provide a great application and/or Site to our users, we have a legitimate interest to collect and process necessary data to:

  • Update and develop user profiles. 
  • Develop and improve Cinewav and/or the Site and user experience.
  • Manage our relationship with you.
  • To send you marketing and promotional communications. We may use the personal information you send to us for our marketing purposes, if this is in accordance with your marketing preferences. You can opt-out marketing via emails at any time. 
  • We may share certain information with third-party marketing partners to enhance our promotional efforts and provide you with more relevant content. These partners may use the information shared to assist us in creating targeted marketing campaigns for event holders. Rest assured, we require our third-party marketing partners to handle your information with the same level of care and security that we do. You can opt-out marketing via emails at any time.
  • To send administrative information to you (for business purposes, legal reasons and/or possibly contractual). We may use your personal information to send you product, service and new feature information and/or information about changes to our terms, conditions, and policies.
  • Deliver targeted advertising to you. We may use your information to develop and display content and advertising (and work with third parties who do so) tailored to your interests and/or location and to measure its effectiveness.
  • To protect our Site (for business purposes and/or legal reasons). We may use your information as part of our efforts to keep our Site safe and secure (for example, for fraud monitoring and prevention).
  • Customize Cinewav and/or the Site experience according to your individual interests, such as through storing information about your preferences and recognizing you when you use or access Cinewav and/or the Site.
  • Respond to your comments and questions and provide user support.
  • Provide you offers in Cinewav and/or the Site as well as in other websites and services, and by email.
  • Send you related information, such as updates, security alerts, and support messages.
  • Speed up your searches. 
  • To analyze, profile, and segment. 
In all of the above cases and purposes, we may analyze, profile, and segment all collected data, including for the purpose of estimating our audience size and usage patterns.


Under the Data Protection legislation you may be entitled to the following rights: 

  • Right to access – the right to request (i) copies of the information we hold about you at any time, or (ii) that we modify, update or delete such information. If we provide you with access to the information we hold about you, we will not charge you for this, unless your request is “manifestly unfounded or excessive”. 
  • Right to correct – the right to have your Personal Data rectified if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Right to erase – the right to request that we delete or remove your Personal Data from our system.
  • Right to restrict our use of your Personal Data – the right to “block” us from using your Personal Data or limit the way in which we can use it.
  •  Right to data portability – the right to request that we move, copy or transfer your Personal Data.
  • Right to object – the right to object to our use of your Personal Data including where we use it for legitimate interests.
You have the right to opt-out of marketing emails and other direct marketing (if any). 

It is important that the Personal Data we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if your Personal Data changes during the period for which we hold it.

 Your request will be observed within a 30-day period from the initial request receipt. We will also notify a relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours from a breach in a case of such breach related to your personal information that we hold. 

Please note that the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is attempting to develop a Do Not Track (DNT) standard. Currently, the standards regarding the DNT signals and appropriate responses are not defined. Accordingly, we do not assign a meaning to DNT signals.

If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Please note however that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal.


We may disclose your Personal Data for the purposes as described in the prior sections of this Privacy Policy, and in the following ways: To Visitors and trusted Business Partners who assist us in providing and improving our services. These Business Partners may include payment processors, event venues, promotional partners, technology providers, and other service providers. We ensure that these partners are committed to maintaining the confidentiality and security of your information and comply with applicable data protection laws. may share your information with Visitors and our business partners to manage refund requests and other claims of the users and to offer you certain products, services or promotions. For Certain Analytics and Improvement: With certain companies for purposes of analytics and improvement of our Services. For Legal Compliance, Law Enforcement, and Public Safety Purposes: With law enforcement, government or regulatory bodies, lawful authorities, or other authorized third parties in order to comply with laws, regulations, court orders, or other legal obligations or to assist in an investigation, to protect and defend our rights and property, or the rights or safety of third parties, to enforce our Terms, this Privacy Policy, or agreements with third parties, or for crime-prevention purposes. 


We allow Organizers to use our email tools to contact Visitors for their current and past Events, so you may receive emails from our system that originate with such Visitors. If you registered for an event on the Services, your email address is available to the Visitor.


We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures. 

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process which included: 

  • using secure shell protocol (SSH);
  • access control (physical and technical). 
However, please also remember that we cannot guarantee that the internet itself is 100% secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Sites is at your own risk. You should only access the services within a secure environment. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet and mobile platforms is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted through Cinewav and/or the Site. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures we provide. 

We are not responsible for the actions of Visitors with respect to your Personal Data. 

We are not responsible for the safety of any information that you share with third-party providers who advertise, but are not affiliated with, our websites. 

The Site may contain advertisements from third parties that are not affiliated with us and which may link to other websites, online services or mobile applications. We cannot guarantee the safety and privacy of data you provide to any third parties. Any data collected by third parties is not covered by this privacy policy. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of any third parties, including other websites, services or applications that may be linked to or from the Sites. We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations. Our servers are located in Singapore. If you are accessing our Site from outside Singapore, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed by us in our facilities and by those third parties with whom we may share your personal information. Cinewav, the Site, and the services are global by nature and your data can therefore be transferred to anywhere in the world. Because different countries may have different data protection laws than Singapore (or your own country, if you are using Cinewav and/or the Site outside of Singapore), we take steps to ensure adequate safeguards are in place to protect your data as explained in this Privacy Policy.

If Cinewav is involved in mergers, acquisitions or sales of assets, we will continue to ensure the confidentiality of all personal data. We will also notify all interested users if their personal information is transferred to another organization or is subject to a different privacy policy.


We attempt to collect Personal data that is important for the purposes specified above and try to store this information not longer than reasonably required. We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless otherwise required by law.  

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. After the expiration of such period, all data will be deleted and removed. We retain your data for as long as your Account is active or unless you request us to delete your data. Note that if you ask us to remove your Personal Data, we may retain your data as necessary to comply with our legal obligations.
